作為日本領先的插畫家自獲得在線全球認可以來，Shohei已在巴黎，東京，米蘭和墨爾本進行了近十年的展覽。Shohei的創作跨越了藝術，插畫和動漫。通過參與Google，AgnèsB，Sony Playstation等知名項目，並且即將與Bape Black合作，將藝術實踐擴展到雕塑，並跨入潮流公仔行列。Shohei已開始鞏固自己作為日本當代藝術中的重要人物的地位。

今年香港SHDW舉辦Shohei Otomo「Reiwa」展 ， Reiwa 漢字為「令和」是日本當前年號。2019年5月1日德仁天皇（Emporer Naruhito）登基成為日本的第126位天皇，將日本從平成時代帶入了Reiwa時代。儘管日本外務省不斷重申，「令和」選自日本古籍《萬葉集》當中的詩句「初春令月，氣淑風和」，其正確解釋是－美麗的和諧。
@shdw.gallery但是該詞的字符的漢語翻譯其實是「命令」包含著維持秩序與和平的意義。這也許是一種巧合，從詩意上反映了對未來的不確定感。Shohei憑藉展覽主題「Reiwa」創作了反映日本文化的重要作品 進行轉型，同時嘗試展望未來。
